Essen MotorShow, one more car: 9ff Speed9

We have had pretty good coverage of the 2009 Essen Motor Show here on toofastcv but we have mist 1 car; the 9ff Speed9!

This car was rumoured before it was unveiled that it wound go topless, but that was in August. And guess what? It is! The car is 9ff newest project and is based on Porsche's 997 Turbo. The re-stylised rear end pays homage to the Porsche 356/1500S Speedster of 1955. The Speed9 also features a Bi-Turbo 650 horsepower engine producing 890Nm of torque. All this power is achieved with the help of a sports air filter, a re-programmed ECU and a 9ff sports exhaust system including a sports catalytic converter, all coming through a Porsche tiptronic gearbox. The aerodynamic upgrades; front apron, side skirts and a rear apron are complementing the car's handling while the adjustable stabilisers on the front and rear axles, double springs and four aluminium spring plates help control the extra horsepower. The 9ff brake system provides the excellent stopping power.

Kicherer SLS 63 CP at Essen

You all know the Mercedes SLS AMG right? Well, Kicherer revealed this past week it's version of the SLS, called the SLS 63 CP. Of course, this was during the Essen Motor Show. The car got numerous upgrades, including got a new front lip spoiler, larger front intake, a roof-mounted air intake and rear diffuser. All these items will be in carbon fiber, to reduce weight on the car. But some things you can get in stainless steel, including the grille and a stainless steel quad-pipe exhaust. The grille is also available in gold. The car is said to be sportier than the Merc's original version. The car was made to be lightweight and three-part 20-inch wheels are also fitted onto the car. A 6.3. liter V8 engine is packed down under the hood. Further details are not available at this time.

Wimmer RS shows off it's Ferrari 430 Scuderia

Wimmer RS showed off it's excellent Ferrari 430 Scuderia at the Essen Motor Show this week. And believe me, it's cool. Technology wise, well, I should probably say exhaust wise, the driver can choose between serial sport sound and racing sound! Awesome! To add to this, there are two welded high grade steel exhaust manifolds as well as two sport catalytic converters and an exhaust valves control unit. It's matte black 19-inch BBS FI alloy rims weight 7.6 kg and this is complemented by 8.75×19 with 225/35 R 19 Dunlop tyres on the front axle and 11.25×19 with 305/30 R19 Dunlop tyres on the rear axle. The rear axle rims weighs 8.8 kg. The car features a system called KW HLS (Hydraulic Lift System). Just press a button and the Wimmer rises it's height to 45mm. This way, you are sure to miss the obstacle that might be on the road by passing over top. The car has a top speed limited to 321 km/h. 100 km/h comes in 3.84 seconds, 200 km/h in 11.03 seconds and 300 km/h in 34.90 seconds. Horsepower was increased by 38 hp on the original version.

2009 Essen Show: Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing 'Dragstar'

The car is named the Dragstar. It takes styling from the classic 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing. That is info overall, but here we go with detailed information. The car is complemented with a 6.9. liter engine, producing 1050 horsepower! Incredible! It's power is transferred to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic gearbox. The owner claims that the car can do a quarter mile in 8.1. seconds, and it reaches a top speed limited to 267 km/h (166 mph).

Corvette C6.BlackforceOne by LOMA Performance

Corvette has produced the C6, but LOMA Performance has tuned it up and named it the Corvette C6.BlackforceOne. Interesting name alright. The funny thing is that the car is not really a C6, it's a normal Corvette. Anyway, LOMA put a bi-turbo engine under the rear hood, and cranked performance up a notch. 100 km/h come sin an impressive 3.4. seconds, and tops peed is limited to above 330 km/h. Michelin Sport Cup tyres in dimensions 275/30R19 and 335/25R20 are mounted on 10 x 19 and 12 x 20-inch black OZ Racing Ultraleggera HLT alloy wheels. A carbon fibre/ceramic brake unit from Mov’it is available on request. The car was revealed yesterday at the Essen MotorShow and will sell for 190,000 euros. The interior is made of beautiful Alcantara leather, but besides that, you can choose from 300 different types of leather! And if we want to talk about the exterior, I've got my mouth full! Only three words: beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

Porsche GT2 Speed Bi-Turbo by Wimmer RS

Wimmer RS has tuned the Porsche GT2. Simple. Ya well, let's get into detail. The car was revealed yesterday at the Essen MotorShow. The car has a bi-turbo engine producing 827 horsepower, and 948Nm of torque. Sport Maxx GT tyres in dimensions of 235/30-20 or 325/25-20 are fitted on the car, to help at fast speeds. It top speed is set to 378 km/h. 100 km/h comes in 3.3. seconds in the Wimmer. The exterior is made of carbon fiber.

Brabus SLS AMG first photo revealed!

Brabus has tuned various cars, but the first photo of it`s SLS AMG has been revealed on the web. Tha car will probably feature an engine producing 700 horsepower. Tha car will be revealed this week at the Essen MotorShow.

SpeedART Panamera at Essen

The Essen Motor Show is Europe's SEMA Show. 9 days of unveiling, from November 28 to December 6. One of the cars that will be revealed is the SpeedART PS9-650; a Porsche Panamera-based car. The German sportscar package includes lots of aerodynamic kits, ect... This means a power kit with larger turbo chargers, sport exhaust and cats plus ECU upgrades. The engine can produce 550, 600 or 650 horsepower and 656.5 lb-ft of torque. 100 km/h is claimed to come in 3.5. seconds and top speed is limited to 320 km/h (200 mph). Numerous exterior upgrades are also included. For example; a front apron, engine hood air outlets, a newly designed bumper at the back with air outlets on both sides, a rear diffuser, side skirts and spoilers on the roof and the boot. The car will ride on 22-inch alloy wheels while the 650 horsepower version will have a new brake system with larger discs and calipers. Inside the cockpit, it features a SpeedART steering wheel with F1-shift paddles, real carbon-fiber trim and accents, new leather upholstery with colored stitches and a revised instrument panel.
