Novitec Rosso has finally finished their tuning kit for the Ferrari 599 GTO. They call it the GTO 888, and will debut next week in Geneva. New and optimized engine components, a new exhaust and the companies new extremely light forged wheels are the highlights of the kit.
The new exhaust includes four black-coated tailpipes with diameters of 90 millimeters. You can adjust the sound from subtle to sporty with the Manettino button on the steering wheel. The twin-compressor six-liter four-valve V12 boosts the horsepower from 670hp to 888hp. High-performance superchargers, driven by a cogged V-belt and lubricated by a dedicated oil circuit is a new exhaust addition also. Power-to-weight ratio is 1.74kg/hp, while peak torque has increased from 242Nm to 862Nm at 6,600rpm. The car sprints from zero to 100km/h in just 3.2 seconds and from standstill to 200km/h takes just 9.1 seconds. The top speed is well over 340km/h.
